Last night, my wife and I watched the film “SEAL Team Six” which covers the gathering of intelligence, the training for, and execution of the plan resulting in the death of Bin Laden. I found the film captivating. Afterward Gail said to me “Didn’t the doctor doing the vaccinations get ratted out and killed?” I had forgotten that fact and then we began discussion on how the Obama administration not only had revealed the doctor’s name but key information about the operatives involved in the attack. They could have simply said “American ground based troops attacked and killed Bin Laden in his compound.” But no, they had to spill the beans that it was the SEALs. Not only was it revealed that it was the SEALs but that it was SEAL team Six! Eventually the names of the members of that team were released to the public and they were killed in an obvious assassination attack on their transport helicopter. I thought the administration was going to be “relentless” in tracking down those who would kill American citizens. I would ask: Whatever became of that attack on the SEALs and who got punished either American of Al Qaeda? Here we have our elite armed forces and intelligence recruits handed to our enemies on a platter for the political benefit of an administration who, on a visceral level detests the intelligence community and the military…which brings us to David Petraeus. Could it be that Petraeus’ affair was known of prior to his confirmation to the Director of the CIA? Could it be that the Obama administration accepted that fact believing it could be used as a future blackmail to compel Petraeus’ compliance with administration policy and/or talking points? Could it be that when the time came, Petraeus did cave in and carry the water for the administration when he initially spoke before Congress and gave them the “video” talking points? Could it be that Petraeus saw the film SEAL Team Six that weekend and realized that he was only so much meat to this administration and when he had served the political purposes of the day, the information about his dalliance would be offered up to the media anyway? Could it be that he Cowboy’d Up and told the Obama administration to collectively “pound salt” into orifices unnamed? Could it be that Petraeus is due a medal for saving the reputation of the men and women of the CIA by his resignation and the telling of the true facts of the Benghazi killings to Congress? This Chicago group has no integrity, morals, shame or honor and it shows…even to a Rube like me. Four years is not so long a time…
Weird. No discussion on this whatsoever? I doesn't suprise me at all. Just proves that our govenment is accomplishing what they are trying to set out and do. It's proven that the majority are sitting around with wool over their eyes. I 100% agree with you on all that you said. How the president handled the Bin Laden event was about as unprofessional as it gets. He should have been held accountable for leaking information on our troops. He put them in harms way with his blatant disrespect for our armed forces. Now, if I remember correctly the helicopter that was shot down did not contain all of the members from the raid, only members of Seal Team Six. That is beside the point. Many members of that team and families felt threatened for their lives after the administration outed them. How did they get away with that? I would expect that information to be some what classified as the Seals work from a code of secrecy and privacy. Amazing how quickly the crash was swept under the rug and forgot about. Who knows who was truly responsible. I have a theory, but I hope that is not how it went down. As far as Petraeus goes....he is just and was nothing other than a sacrificial lamb. I don't think we have even scratched the surface on this one yet. This administration is full of dark coverups that I almost hope the truth is not exposed in a way. I'm not sure how the general public would act. They probably wouldn't believe it and continue to turn a blind eye. We have become nothing more that govenment dependant robots while they get away with treason and murder.
Perhaps we have learned to ignore unproven hyperventilating conspiracy BS. Of course we all know that bush/cheney planning the attack on the world trade center just so they would have a reason to go after iraqi oil and haliburton could make money is true but we do ignore the unproven hyperventilating conspiracy BS.

I am sure someone leaked information and it could have very well been an "official leak" but your newspaper "facts" certainly don't verify that any leaks were authorized by the president or anyone in his administration. Perhaps the leaks were perpetrated by some disgruntled neocon assclown wanting to put the administration in a bad light. That's as possible as anything else. I like newspapers and opinion pieces as much as anybody but I do not confuse them with verifiable facts. If I did then I would think that bush/cheney were behind 9/11 just like the liberal aluminum foil hat wearers.
A fellow was smart as you can’t actually think that because there is no “proof” that the White House made an “official” leak that none was made. Was that you I saw making comment that Bush had planned the 9-11 attacks?
