So last season was my first season for food plots. I planted a mixture of rye, wheat, oats, clover and turnips. It was a premixed bag I picked up at the feed store. Unfortunately I didn't get to see very promising results due to the fact that it rained the first two days after planting and then hardly rained an inch for the following two months. Usually the rain isn't that sparse in this region. So I ask y'all for those in my region, what do y'all suggest planting? I'm in the pinewoods of east Texas.
