I only use 2 and 4gb cards. an 8 is plenty. if you switch them out at least every two weeks you can still hold well over a couple thousand pics

If you're going to do video then use a higher gig card. If not, an 8gb is plenty.

I use 8gb Sandisk cards because they hold a ton of pictures. I found them for $6 a pop on ebay.

I use a 16gb sandisk in my coverts, even though they can hold up to 32gb (2013 models). I don't have to worry about the card filling up if i dont get to check the camera in 2-3 weeks, and even in photo+video mode, it still doesnt fill the card up

I am now buying nothing smaller than 4GB but try to get 8GB, big enough for video mode if not left out forever, but plenty amount of space for LONG sits on picture modes. Also 8GB can be used in every Covert, which is what kind of cameras I run. I like PNY's as my favorite brand but I've used everything from Walgreens brand, nearly every kind walmart has and a couple lexmars.

I run 4gb's in my cams. I generally get them checked about every two weeks.

I have a 2GB and 4GB and 8GB. I have never maxed one out. But I don't do videos. I will have to see if my cams will do video.
