SD memory card options

    Does the mother boards on the new trail cams allow them to take full advantage of the hi hen SD cards such as the

    SanDisk 16GB Extreme Pro SD SDHC SDXC Class 10 Memory Card UHS-1 95MB/s

    These class 10 cards will fire (transfer) data much quicker than the class 2 with better quality images.

    i bet the recovery time might be a little faster and mabey the burst sequence might quicken up a bit

    That's why I'm hoping that the trail cams can use them. Keeping my fingers crossed.

    Just an update. Just got off the phone with a Bushnell tech. The Trophy Cam HD will take full advantage of the capabilities of high performance class 10 SD cards.

    Also when using a point & shoot camera to view the SD card the P&S camera must have the same or greater megapixels as the trail cam & shoot jpeg. All good news to me.

    sweet might have to try them out in some of my cams!! i usually by a group of 5 sd cards off ebay

    That's what Bushnell recommends for their HD cams so there has to be a reason. I'm guessing its because they write to the card faster.

    I always jut used regular sandisks, might have to buy a couple to try !
