I've always ran 4gb cards and have not had any issues as I typically check my cameras every two weeks, but this year I plan to check them every 3 or 4 weeks. Add the fact that all my cams now are 8 or 12 MP which means decreased file space. I'll be running 6 (for now)cameras, four of them only hold 16gb, and two hold 32gb. With all that said I am gonna need 12 SD cards. Do I need all that space for a say a months time in the woods or lets say below 10,000 pics? Lets keep in mind there will be Monster Raxx in front of some of these cams so that is at least 2x the pics right? 8gb median?
I use 8gb cards, but I check mine once a week average. If I was gonna leave them for a month, I believe I would go bigger. Especially using Monster Raxx
I run all 4 GB. They hold about 3000 pics. On my mineral sites I set my cams for 2 pics every 1 minute and normally don't have any issue but I check cameras weekly.
