As the amount of cameras slowly build up so do my SD cards. I have two cards for each camera and a few extras.
This last time pulling the cards it was hot, the bugs were getting to me and i was struggling to keep them separated.

So do you keep them separate so the same SD cards go into the same camera everytime, if so how do you keep them organized?

Or do you just use what ever SD card you grab and format each time you put it in the camera?

I just pulled out an old traveling sized fishing lure box, the type that will fit in a small bag to separate them for now.

Mine are all Pro Duo cards (sony) since I use all homebrew cams. I have two cards per camera. Each card pair is labeled along with the camera I use them in. For instance, on Camera 1, I have the two cards labeled "1" in sharpie since the duo adapter allows me to write. I use a plastic case to hold them all when I go into the field. Pull one card, replace it with the other labeled for that cam. Works for me.

I have two cards for each camera. I put the last three digits of the serial number on the cards for each indivdual camera and place them in a case in numerical order so I can find the cards faster while swapping. Pelican makes a nice case and recently I've been using LensCoat sd card cases. Lenscoat will hold up to 15 cards.

I have two cards per camera and I number my camera. Cards for Cam 1 get 1A and 1B and so on. I also start with all my blank cards (in their cases) in one pocket and as I change them I put them in a different pocket.

Pretty much like MGH and Chuck said, use sharpy to number cams and cards are marked to match. I try using same card with same camera, idk if it helps but I like to think so ha.

I have two cards per camera as well. I label each camera, and each card.

Camera 1 has cards 1A and 1B and so forth.

I try to have all of the "A" cards out in the field at once, and swap them out for all the "B" cards on the next trip.

    It helps me keep track.

I also name my cards as devices on my computer, so when I plug each one in, it will come up as "Camera 1A" or whatever. I keep and manage my pictures, and will archive them for a few years to look back at from time to time, or to date a sighting or event.

I have a lot of cameras. Each camera has 2 sd cards. I have a few different brands of cameras, so I label each card for the camera it belongs to. All of my sd cards are stored together in an easy to seperate container. When I check my cameras i know which camera I am checking and bring the proper sd card to switch out, and then put the card with pics on it in a different container so I know which card is which. This has worked great for me. This is a very easy way to keep everything seperate and orginized without losing anything from being so tedious.
