I was in Walmart to get batteries and a card for my trail cam and ran across this "Media Streamer" card viewer for smart phone. It was $39. You download the app for it and it works by wifi. I have I phone 4 and it worked great. It's rechargeable. I'll try to get a pic on here of the package. A lot cheaper than the others I've heard about.

I'd be interested in that. Beats carrying my laptop to the woods with me.

I know Fitz has one I think it's a air stash, I don't think you need wifi but I could be wrong. I would like something like what you have but be able to use with out the wifi

image.jpg When I say wifi, I only mean it doesn't plug into your phone. No internet connection necessary. I would say it's more like Bluetooth.

Not what your thinking, I wish tho. It's only a sime device so you don't need to carry a laptop.

I understand for those that don't have the opportunity to bring the card back home to a computer... AmI the only one who actually likes to bring the SD card home and plug into a computer? Even if the camera has a card viewer I still bring it home.

It's like Christmas morning every time.

According to the specs, not only can you view them, but transfer them to another card/usb or mobile device(phone), I will be looking for one tomorrow;)

Exactly! Not sure who has wifi in there tree stand? All you need is a regular apple (if you have an iPhone) SD card reader. $25 @ target, plugs right into your phone/iPad etc. also any $10 cheap digital camera will work.

Thanks! The sd card reader that plugs into the iPhone is what I want then. That seems to be the easiest route.

That's one reason I didn't go with an iPhone. I can use my droid to check all my trail cams...

All my SD cards are the minis with the adapters. I simply pop the back of the phone off, swap mini cards, download the pictures to my phone, and put the empty card back in... No laptops, no cameras, no extra accessories...

The Apple SD card reader doesn't work for the iPhone. If it did we wouldn't be having this conversation.

That's funny because it seems to work fine in my iPhone 5?

Must be a new iPhone thing. It won't work on my 4S but I guess I haven't tested the 5 or 5S. I read on apple it doesn't work on any iPhone. Guess that's another reason to get the 5S.
