I have a few Coverts and adding some more. I was wondering if anyone here has used different brand Sd card reader like moultries or wildgames viewer with success? I have tried a digital camera and that didnt work and i dont feel comfortable carring my ipad to the woods. Open to suggestions. Thanks
The best way is to get a life proof case for your iPad, same price as a viewer and take your iPad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
I for the life of me have always if I desired for a field check just taken a digital camera....yeah display is small but can zoom and get the synopsis of movement on it.
I have CA 4.0s and getting a few more CA 3.0s it has a small remote that has a screen on it but you cant tell what is on the screen as picture wise goes.
I have just been taking a small digital camera up the stand with me and grabbing the card on the way in. Works fine and helps pass a little bit of slow time in the stand...
There are some digital cameras you can view the pictures on I have 3 digital cameras but can only view pictures on 1 of them. I think the Ipad is the best bet for in field veiwing.
Not an in field viewer, but this is what I did. Just go to amazon and search "sd card reader". A pile of them come up. Get one that plugs into your pc or laptop. Then when you go check your camera just swap out the card, and when you get home you can view them all and save/delete, and get the card ready for the next swap out. I'm new to the trail cam game, but it sure makes life easy for me. I'm in and out, and can check all my pics when I get home on my big screen. I got the IOgear 12 in 1. So far it has worked great, and I can put my digital camera cards and phone cards in it also.
I use a multimedia card reader/viewer like the epson P-2000. You can pick them up usually for under $50 on Ebay. Here is a link to some info on it. Epson P-2000 Review
i use a Kodak Playsport to film any action while im bowhunting, its attached to the bow. I cant view pics while in the stand, but during winter and summer i will use this to click through the pictures.
