SD card reader for Iphone

I'd like to get an SD card reader for my Iphone, but have no idea which one to get. Of course I don't want to spend a lot of money. I bought one at wally world on clearance and I think my Iphone 6 doesnt recognize it. (Stealth Cam w/lightning cord)

I'm not tech savvy at all so i have no idea what one to buy from amazon. Can someone point me in the right direction?

 

To use the Stealth Cam reader you need to download the i-Easy Drive app. Once you do that it works like a charm. Try that first before buying anything else.

hmm, I tried that and it doesnt recognize or acknowledge anything being plugged in. Dumb question, do the pictures have to be from Stealth cam maybe?

 

I purchased mine with my Amazon Prime account, it is a Geekgo SD card reader. Plug it in for the first time, download the app that it prompts, and you are good to go. Has worked perfectly and cost me less than $20 with free shipping. I know it is important to insert the SD card in the reader BEFORE plugging into my iPhone. I have never used the StealthCam reader but it might be something to try. Good luck!

 

I've got a few of the Stealthcam readers and they all work the same way. You also need to unplug between every memory card as well.

 

Thats what I use. very easy.

 

I have the stealth reader also with I easy app also. it works fine but I have to take my phone out of the protective case. its just thick enough that it wont let the reader connect

does the app come up when you plug it in ?

 

If your charger slot has some wear you might have to plug it in several times before it will connect. that's the case with mine. here is a youtube link

 

It could just be that iPhones suck in so many ways. Turn phone off and on again. No worky? Uninstall app and reinstall. Still no go? Take the reader back to exchange since it isnt working. Still no love? Drive out to the nearest river bridge and throw iPhone as far as you can and get an android and any generic card reader of choice for cheap. Lol.

I like to keep things simple, I just use my little Canon digital camera. Works great.

I need Android.... First thing I do after buying it is wipe the os and reimage. The batteries last 100x longer without the $hit they put on and are locked.

 

i have a samsung, i bought one at walmart for like 5 bucks, works fine

 

Hey swamp mine doesn’t work either. I’ve always used the same reader and it’s always worked great. This is a different i phone than I had last year and it’s not working. Actually I have two and neither are working.
