I'll say this about them good ole UAW Folk. They create over time by sabotaging machinery, gun decking work, slow jacking work, all in the name of over time.

Then Union People think this is perfectly fine as along as those numb-nuts get their self appointed union dues. And protect those Sorry SOB's. UAW majority of workers aren't crap...they have truly destroyed the American Product and forced 35% of all manufacturing jobs to Mexico.

In fact today I'm training a couple of Mexican Citizens on how to operate a 2-ton press.....and they are opening a business by this business in Mexico....????

    WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!!!!!

If you have your receipt, there shouldn't be an issue getting the oil change shop to pick up the charge. They have insurance coverage on such things, and its fairly common. Sorry for the headache while on vacation, that had to suck ;)

My Fords rear dif had to be rebuilt last summer (first day of owning the truck) because whoever owned it before me used the wrong type of fluid in it.

Maintenance is so hard to trust these days.

Don't get me started on a Tundra. I owned a 2008 4x4 5.7l crewmax. SR5 with nav. In the 2.5 years i owned it, the front differential was replaced twice. The front drive shaft, the rear differential seal blew, which made the rear differential blow, then the rear wheel bearings went bad plus the front rotors warped. All this occured after 36k miles which were luckily covered under the 60k powertrain warranty. The first 36k miles were all highway miles commuting from charlotte nc to jax fla, sometimes roundtrip in one day. It never towed anything. So much for heavy duty. It got so bad, toyota bought it back last april with 58k miles on it. They essentially gave me my money back minus the 2.5 years. All in all a not wortht the days out of service etc. Look up AIP issues with those trucks and you will think twice. 2500 bucks for a 25 dollar fan that cripples your motor and toyota applied a bandaid TSB. I have owned 4 ruuners, sequoias, and the wife has a highlander, but that truck was th definition of a POS.

I must apologize to the UAW. As video evidence shows the worker did not put plug back in.

The owner of the place stepped up and handled it. He made a wrong a right. I asked him not to fire the kid. Nobody died, my vacation was delayed like 3 hours and my truck is getting fixed.

He will still have my business.

Half ton truck with an undersized motor, pulling a camper, ain't such a good idea anyway, but a differential with no fluid makes that even worse... Glad to hear the owner stepped up to make it right. If I were to buy a half-ton truck, it would be a Chevy, but in the REAL TRUCK class, Cummins Diesels stand alone, thus a Dodge is a requirement, unless I want to buy a Ford and pay the LARGE upgrade price to get a Cummins put in it.... Buy an F550 you get a powerstroke stock, or you can upgrade to a Cummins... :D
