Screen for plot near roadway

Lots of good suggestions so far. You might try looking into some Austrees......they grow 10 ft the first year and 3-5 per year after that. The plot being on a slope, even corn probably won't be tall enough to shield the part by the building, but it will help. I'd leave a minimum of 6 rows

 

Hybrid Willow and Austree Willow are the same species.
