What i really want is a good mineral lick. For the last 2 springs i haven't been able to get one established.

Spending it with your girlfriend is out of the question. I vote that you play fulltime camera man for your brothers and all of your bros. The world needs to watch more deer get killed on film.

    Great story!

I think it's pretty obvious that meeting me at the G2G was what changed your luck. Or, maybe it was the Surly.

... either way, you are welcome :tu:

Seriously, huge congrats buddy. Great write up too!

Great write up. It took me 3 years to harvest my first bow buck whish was last year. He was a 94 inch stud! I had his skull boiled and dipped and he is hanging on my office wall and is my favorite trophy. Now that you have this monkey off your back and you are planting crops you should hold deer better and as they grow older you will be taking bigger bucks every year.

We just started managing our place in Southern Indiana and right now my rule of thumb is if its bigger then whats on the wall then he is a shooter. Once we start growing bigger deer obviously that rule will change a little. Good job and good luck in the future
