I'm thinking about doing the same thing as well. I consider myself a way above average caller on a mouth call, but my friends call in probably 2 to 1 or 3 to 1 more birds than I do using a slate.
Way to go man - killer harvest pics too. Not a lot of people take the time to get quality harvest pics like that. Congrats and good luck on that double beard.
Way to go Caleb, congratulation's!!!! Send some of that luck my way In about 3 weeks. That's when my season opens. Congratulation's once again!!! I agree with Dave, great quality pictures!!
Saweeeeeeeeeeet Caleb... I killed one opening morning in Ohio but the Indiana birds wupped my butt again wednesday, as they do every year. That's good karma, you helped out your buddies a bunch last year. I still crack up at the dvd you sent me every time....at the "Franken-turkey"
Actually after review i dont believe its the bird. We only had 2 gobblers roosting on this property to our knowledge, but now believe that to have been 3.
Yes sir, They actually had the double beard within 80 yards two seperate time today (my 12 and 14 year old brothers), but couldnt seal the deal. Ill be on him again tommorow. Heres what most likely is my gobbler after further review:
Congrats, I'd have gone insane 6 years man! lol Bet that was more like a gorilla off your back. Nothing better than calling in a bird to meet his demise! Pretty bird as well. I had a terrible run of luck bowhunting them in Kansas, losing a few birds, so I got vengeance with the Benelli opening weekend here in KY when I got back. Looking to tag out with the Hoyt in the morning on film. Toting the XHA1 tomorrow, which I'm halfway certain weighs more than my DB blind on its tripod, lmao.
Dam Caleb, I missed this somehow I seen your new Avatar pic and thought hmmmm, surely he posted that somewhere I found it, congrats bro, nice one
