Have any of you ladies n gents taken dirt from a scrape on a different piece of property and dumped into a scrape or create a mock scrape on another piece?
If so what were some of your results if any please.

    Thanks,
    Peak

Maybe even use the over hanging branch?

I've moved the deer droppings and it really seemed to upset the original scrape maker as the next day the scrape was absolutely torn up and the branches above really chewed up!

Jeff I am going to give it a try when I head up to northern Wisconsin for the gun hunt Wednesday.
I picked up some scrape dirt from 2 different properties last week. I will let you all know how it works out when I get back December 1st.

Andy did you get a chance to hunt over or near that scrape?

I have 2 stands in the area. My mock scrape has a main travel corridor going through it, but this would have been their path anyway. This property always has scrapes on it, and bucks have been spotted there and i took one in 2005. The mock scrape I made is in my shooting lane, I'm hoping any deer that is walking through will stop there at least momentarily for a shot!
