I was wondering who might be seeing any scrapes and or rubs? I was in my woods on Sunday checking my cams and didn't see any scrapes in the usual places I see them each year. I guess it's still a tad early in my immediate area.

I have hunted multiple parcels in my area over the past few years and never see scrapes this early on. Though i recently was granted permission to hunt a new parcel this year, and have already found 3scrapes. The first one i found on oct 3rd! I have never seen scrapes this early so i was excited to see that for sure.

In pa I saw 2 scrapes during the first week of October. One was gigantic. The morning I found it there were actually 2 wet spots in the freshly pawed dirt from deer at it not to long before. The bummer was it was just out of site of the stand I was in.

I have noticed most of my usual community scrapes generally start around the middle of September. As of the last week of September they had not started scraping yet.

There is a tree on the land that I hunt that has been rubbed every year for the past 5 years-ish. This year I figured that the tree would be a bit too big for a fresh rub but I was very wrong. I ended up setting a camera on it this week in hopes that whatever hit it may come back.

I saw scrapes and rubs last weekend I went out, and past seasons I have seen rubs as early as mid to early September. I just haven't been able to put a lot of time in to confirm that for this season.

I've been seeing scrapes since velvet came off back in September. Keep in mind that through most of September and a good part of October the bucks are really only working the licking branches. They don't start scraping the ground hard in most cases until the second week of October or so. You'll see some pop up earlier than that but not many. I know this last weekend I was out and the scrape by the stand I hunted was absolutely pounded. Probably the 5 foot long x 3 foot wide.

I haven't seen any fresh rubs where I've been hunting in Kentucky, but while we were tracking that buck Saturday we found a few brand new scrapes.

We have seen a couple here in Texas last weekend. All the scrapes were pretty small in size, and did find a few fresh rubs. It hasn't really started here yet. I won't be on my lease this weekend but after that I am expecting to see a lot more on that 20-22nd weekend of October.

I've only hunted twice but haven't seen any scrapes and very few rubs. I should know a lot more by next week as I should be able to hunt a lot more starting Friday.

I have only seen 1 rub so far and no scrapes. I anticipate seeing a few more show up in the next week or so. That's about when I normally see them in my best area on our lease.
