Is it helpful or useful to hunt scrapes if it is already middle of the rut? Seeing alot of scrapes and wondering if thier worth hunting. Any advice?

if they are still being freshened heck yah. although i would stick to interior scrapes. field edges are most likely still night visits, though that might change right before breeding.
kick some leaves into one, and go back and check later. see if they are gone
