You guys that hunt over existing or mock scrapes....when have you had more success, mornings or evenings.

The last time I set up over a scrape was back in 2005 when I still rifle hunted. Found it the day before season and hunted it the next morning. Killed the biggest buck of my life.

Be sure to identify your scrape. Not all scrapes are created equal.

Some are just on a whim and may never be visited again. You want to look for larger scrapes that continuously get hit most likely by multiple bucks but definitely mature bucks.

Hunting over scrapes that were created by bucks I've saw more bucks during the PM sits but I've also hunted more In the PM's then any other time of day too.

Hunting my mock scrapes, so far every buck I've saw this year has been on PM sits but my camera's tell me any time of the day would work just fine, mid day actually has yielded the most sightings on camera so far.
