Yesterday, I went scouting for new hunting areas in a nearby WMA. I found several great spots, but the one of the roads I haven't checked out yet had muddy standing water in it from a recent storm. Having no idea how deep it was, I decided to check that road out after it has had a few days to dry up. I practiced my stalk and glass pace for a bit and saw a doe. Getting real stoked for opening day archery!
