Well its obviously natural, that isn't even debatable. Now as the norm? If you are talking biologically, then no, its obviously not the norm and its a biological defect. Not sure what any of this has to do with gays being about to get married though?
To hard to have dialogue with a someone that references FART and a monkey named Sam. No more back and forth for me, got to mow. Take care.
Haha because what I said is correct. You might not like the examples or name choice, but what I said is correct.
I don't agree that it is natural, but my reasons are religious so it might be best to not go there... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My religion was started the day God created the world, I am a follower of God and later his son. Not some new modern religion. I attend Catholic Church because I believe it most closely follows the original teachings of God, but I am not a catholic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What's not natural is the hypocrisy in our country. I'll judge a man on his character not on whether or not he likes to kiss other men.
If it is ever made fact that there is a god and that he will destroy us for allowing gay marriage, then Im all for discussing making it against the law. But until then, we have no good reason to not allow gay marriage. "I think its icky." " It makes me have to be a parent and actually explain something to my kid." "Its not what I like." "2 people o the same sex cant make a kid." Those are facts you can throw into the mix, but those arnt good reason to make a law against it and take rights and happiness away from 2 people.
How do u define this as natural? Regardless of which window you look from, biologically, societal, or most religions it is a not normal or a "defect". I ask out of curiosity. Do I think everyone should be happy? Yes, as long as it is morally normal and right. Do I have hate towards gays? Absolutely not. My heart goes out to them. The word "defect" that Hooker used is where my concern lies... I'm not sure what the answer is here. I'm just starting conversation... That's what this is for after all. I will say I do not agree with monsta, allowing people to do whatever they want as long as it makes them happy and doesn't affect me is not the answer. AT ALL
No but it disproves your fact that marriage was started before my religion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I would also say it is not natural. I think everyone has the right to pursue happiness. My concern lies in the degradation of marriage. I think this will cause people of all groups to put less meaning in marriage. As we already decided, my reasons are in fact religious and are not going change just as many of yours are not going to change. I would in no way say it's a defect though. I believe Jesus loves each and every person no matter what decisions they make. I also believes he wants more for those who decide to be/choose to be/are gay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No it doesn't. Because the only facts that can come from your religion come from after Jesus was born. When this religion was began. And when your religion claimed responsibility. Claimed. Put its proved, fact, that before that CLAIM was made, marriage existed.
Please, take away religion and personal opinion, and give us good reasons to not allow same sex marriage. Forget if people can have sex with animals, or their family, or trees. Give a good argument against gay marriage without religion or opinion.
The Old Testament was written before Jesus, if you don't count the Old Testament you can't count the document that you found marriage going back to 1790, they are both written long ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
