Can't say I'm all that surprised given his history of drug addiction, but it's still sad. The guy had a lot of talent. STP was one of my favorites back in my middle school and early high school days. Saw them play a few times in the late 90's as he was a hell of a front man. http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/ex-stone-temple-pilots-singer-scott-weiland-found-dead/
Not meaning to be callous but Scott's suffering is over, he tried rehab and it never worked but like many other tortured souls when every day is a battle the battle sucks any joy out of the world. May he find peace.
Dang.... im with you Justin. Used to listen to STP on a daily basis. Surprised he lasted this long. Didnt think he would be far behind Layne Stayley.
What a shame............Saw them live at the Rolling Rock Town Fair in 2001. One of my favorites for sure.
R.I.P. Scott.... Seen the man preform numerous times in the 90's one of the best groups to see live at the time. Addiction is a hard thing to overcome..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Saw him play a show when he had a broke leg, came out in a wheelchair, I guess the heroin kicked in about half way through and he was dancing around the rest of the show. He was a hell of a front man. Too bad he couldn't beat the demons. He's at least not for sale now.
