Not meaning to be callous but Scott's suffering is over, he tried rehab and it never worked but like many other tortured souls when every day is a battle the battle sucks any joy out of the world. May he find peace.

Dang.... im with you Justin. Used to listen to STP on a daily basis. Surprised he lasted this long. Didnt think he would be far behind Layne Stayley.

What a shame............Saw them live at the Rolling Rock Town Fair in 2001. One of my favorites for sure.

    Life is precious.

Drugs are for sick people and he had some real demons to fight.

So sad to think that he wanted to beat that demon but just couldn't get it done. What a shame.

    R.I.P. Scott....

Seen the man preform numerous times in the 90's one of the best groups to see live at the time.

Addiction is a hard thing to overcome.....

Saw him play a show when he had a broke leg, came out in a wheelchair, I guess the heroin kicked in about half way through and he was dancing around the rest of the show. He was a hell of a front man. Too bad he couldn't beat the demons. He's at least not for sale now.
