    I have just bought a Scott Saber tooth release and I haven had a chance to shoot with it yet but first impression is dam is the trigger touchy. :jaw: Are all Scott releases like this? Also I'm not really used to the jaws staying open after the shot. I have heard good things about Scott releases so I hope I'll like it when I shoot with it Friday.

    I been shooting them for years, never had any issues as they always worked well, right now i am shooting the shark...I am always trying something new so it probably wont be for long...thinking of trying there new hook style release.

    I just bought a Scott release as well. I got the little goose and yes the trigger is very touchy. I shot it for a few days and I just never seemed to like it enough to change to be honest with you. I will just stick to my true fire team real tree release.

    You just bought the same release I've been shooting for five years. It's a fantastic release, and yes, it's a light trigger. It's supposed to be. :D

    Practice and get used to it and I promise you'll love that thing almost as much as you love your bow.

    I was looking for a better release because I felt like my Tru ball Assassin SST was to predictable and I may have been dropping my arm prior to the shot because the trigger is so stiff. I have it adjusted down but I haven't been totally happy with it. Chief is there any tips you can give to me since you have been using it so long?

    I went with the Rhino XT. I won't say it's a hair trigger, just very smooth. I'll swap it out with my TRU Ball Max 4. Love em both.

    I have the silverhorn which a hook release. I tried the other single and double calipers but I like the silverhorn best. It is a little touchy but that is good because then you don't have the delay when your need to release quickly before the target moves. It is the smoothest release I have tried yet.

    Go to Scotts web site, click on innovations tab.
    OR;
    http://www.scottarchery.com/innovations/

    It shows you where the trigger sensitivity adj screw is.

    I shot bullseye pistol matches with light triggers for many years, I found these triggers very lite too.

    I love my Scott Little Goose but wish it were longer. I wear the wrist strap loose so that my trigger finger lays where I like it. I love the sensitivity:dan::lol:

    I too had problems with the little goose length. Even let out as far as it would go, it was still too short. I have fairly large hands (wear a size lg glove) but not exceptionally large. I ended going with the little bitty goose NCS, as it affords much more length adjustment in any increment you want. Shaq O. could use this thing if the wrist strap lets out enough.
