This guy is not camera shy in the slightest....One of my most regular bucks on cam, but I finally managed to catch a day picture. Not as much mass as I once hoped, but hes a dandy in my book and that's all that matters.

Wow, from that angle he looks fairly young. Do you have a full broadside picture? If he is a 3 year old, I wouldn't touch him.
He is really gonna be something special!

If you can keep him on your land and keep him safe for another year or two, I concur. Full body shot would be great to see as well.

    Good luck passing on him!

With the hunting pressure in the area I am afraid if I do get lucky enough to see him and let him pass, it will be the last time I ever see him alive. I really wish it was different in my area, but there are very few bucks on the land that I hunt that I know have made it more than a year as even a small 8 point usually does not make it. Here are a couple pictures of him broadside, one more recent and one earlier this summer.

Great deer. We have the same dilemma, If we pass them, someone else shoots them or they move on to a different property and stay there. When we get a decent one, we take the shot, especially on a deer like that.
