Craigs list find. Only $200. The guy asked more because he re-carpeted it and added a safety strap and replaced the wing nuts with knobs and added backpack straps. He also replaced the foot stirrups and bungee with new material . Looking forward to the mobility of a climber again.

$200 you say? I do not own a climber but that seems a bit much for a death trap like that.

The selling point for me is that I can just bear hug the trees I choose to climb, I don't even think I'll need a safety harness climbing like that. Plus I don't have to decide if I want to sit or stand since there is no seat...it's a win win!

Exactly! Thats why I got it. I can just see it now, sitting on the platform, legs and feet swinging back and forth waiting for my hit list bucks to make a mistake. Then its BOOYAH! BOOMSHAKALAKA, IN THE CAGE!, SMOKED HIM. :chewy:

No HARMONIC DAMPERS? Sounds more like a nightmare than a dream.

Don't be stingy with the monkey tails either. It'll be nothing but a whisper going up the tree.
