Score This Buck

    Hi, I am new to this forum and relatively new to bow hunting. Just put out the trail camera last week in an area where we always see bucks while squirrel hunting. Just curious to see what everyone thinks this buck scores. With bow season fast approaching I pretty curious. He looks like a great bow buck, but he also looks to only be about 3 years old.

    A 14" H3 on his left side really helps his gross score out as I do not think that is a common base for the G2 and G3.

    It appears to me the base is "figure 8" shaped looking, causing me to believe it is not common base.

    I love how everyone's score on this buck is a lot different than each others. 165-123 and everywhere in between...

    Yea, that buck is nowhere near the 165" mark, and he is a heck of alot bigger than 123". I would be willing to put money on his scoring within 5" either way of my guess of 143".

    If that is common base I got 142. The closeup photo of the buck to me looks like it is not common base though.

    If I remember correctly....

    41 on the mains.
    33 on the mass (as a common base).
    43 on the mass (as a non-common base).
    12 spread.

    First - WELCOME! GREAT looking Buck! He's got nice mass on the left and awesome tines,Long beams. Just at a glance high 140's. I just Love how tall he is!
