The mounted deer is the biggest I had killed until this year and the other,I killed in October. He is my best. After 23 years of bow hunting, these are my biggest two.I've killed a lot of deer with a bow usually only manage to kill a doe or two and a smallish buck each season.I keep thinking that my time will come to kill that giant but hasn't happened yet.The one I killed this year was my biggest to date but not a giant.I spend many hours every season in the stand so it should happen eventually.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Id say 120s for first and low 130s for the second

I'd guess between 100-105 on the first, and between 125 and 130 on the second. Nice deer, that first mount is unique! Congrats on both!

I agree roughly 100 on #1 and 120's on #2. I am talking gross score not net. #2 would have lots of deductions due to being a 3x5 but he sure is a great looking deer.

Score is fun to know but the chase and the story are worth way more.

I hope to get the second deer back from the taxidermist early next year.I'll have my buddy score it to see what it is exactly.Yea,the second deer would have a lot of deductions but I'm not really concerned with net score. To me,gross score is more true to the exact size of a rack.I've never scored a deer personally but my good friend and hunting buddy knows all about that so I've had more of an interest in that the last couple of years. One thing that I have noticed is that after looking at lots of pics and scores,a deer over 130 is a very nice deer and they don't come often for most of us.I've been at it for 23 years and you see what my biggest is.
