I'm going to buy a Redfield Revenge 3-9x42 or 3-9x52 today. It'll be on my .22-250, in which i plan on doing some night hunting with. Is the 52mm worth $40 more, mainly for night hunting purposes?

I got a 40 Leupold on my Yote gun and have no problems night hunting, my research found that the bigger MM doesn't actually gather that much more light thats why I went with the 40. Having the scope mounted lower to the barrel was more of a concern for me. Also, you get what you pay for in a scope, lens quality is key, I just put a Vortex on my .300wsm and like this more then my Leupold, awesome quality with the best Warranty out there!

Sightrons on closeout at swfa. Much better than revenge, and priced very good.
