I am looking for a scope for my 12 ga. Remington pump action. I have never had a scope on this gun, and finally want to put one on.
Just looking for everyone's option on what scopes are decent, and will be able to take the recoil of the gun.
I am looking for one in the $50-$150 price range.

Probably won't get a whole lot of responses being a bow forum, but on my 870 I put a Leupold 2x7 shotgun scope.

Probably going to have a hard time meeting your pricepoint for a quality optic. Need one that will hold its zero with the recoil. Also keep in mind you may have to buy a mounting bracket to install on the receiver. I used a B Square on mine

Best bet in that price range would probably be looking on ebay/craigslist.

I have a Nikon Slughunter on my Mossberg 835 and love it. Being in Michigan my shots aren't too long but this scope is easily good for 200 yards.

I just put a Vortex Diamondback 1.75-5 on my Ultra slug. Havent shot it yet but I love vortex optics

Cant go wrong with a Leupold vx1 or the Nikon slug hunter either

Slug guns are HARD on glass. You get what you pay for, shopping around you can find about any of them listed for not much more than your $150 limit, if you're willing or able to stretch it to $200 you open up your quality choices immensely

Nikon Slughunter BDC. Have it on 2 shotguns. Shoots good out to 150 yds plus. Great scope.
