Wish they would have done that at my school back in the day. They were some big girls.

I like how they are only banning them during school time, not at games or any other school functions. Consistency, I like it.

If they are too short for the normal dress code, then I can't see why there should be any type of exemption. The school could just order longer skirt uniforms to solve the problem. I have an issue with cheerleaders wearing shorty shorts or cheerleader skirts, all the while they are sending other students home to change when their normal shorts are too short. Certainly another common sense situation.

I don't agree with the school and think it is hogwash. If it is OK to wear to the game it is OK to wear to school. Either it is too revealing or it is not no matter where it is.

some Mom's fat daughter either got cut or made fun of by the cheerleaders, thus she complained, or at least something like that always is the cause for these types of things.

    It's always the fatties.

As a 15, almost 16 year old High schooler, I don't think I can disagree anymore.... Plus if they don't want their students to be wearing them, then why do they provide them?

What happens when someone is offended by the color blue or a particular hair style? If the uniforms are good enough for the game (extracurricular events) they are good enough for regular school hours. If they want to choose longer skirts for the uniforms, then so be it, but don't say it's ok here but not here. At what point does it become social engineering rather than just common sense rules?

Just playing devils advocate: So you are saying it would be ok for the wrestlers and swimmers to wear their uniforms to school?
