Alright me and Ferg went out on his lake last night and he caught 8-12 gills of 1 which was a crappie. Myself not a damn thing so today we are heading to my lake for some home field advantage. I will double this then we can have a playoff at a neutral lake. You know though I did not see a single one of these fish he caught as we had seperate Shantys. He said he tried to take pics with his camera phone and picture mail me but his phone was not working right. HMMMM Very interesting as I know the text feature was working fine.
Shanty?!? Dude, you gotta get out and hole hop if you wanna catch fish! Poke a bunch of holes and jump around.....its the only way to ice fish! :d

Just how many holes does a man need to poke in one evening? Fish won't be the only thing you'll be catching with this gameplan.
I think something is fishy here PS: There is no way the Fergster can fit that tackle box of his in a shanty Its as big as a 1973 Vega Wagon I seen him use it at the G2G last June, he pulled it down the hill to fish, it bought ran him over, and i had to pull it back up the hill with my truck and chain, my transmission has not been right since
Alright girls before any of you posted replies me and frog slayer stayed out of the shanty and my buddy and ferg's buddy used it. Then ferg used his 1 man shanty later in the day. I ended up with 9 gills and ferg 1 pike. (Snake) Probably take all 9 gills to equal the length of his pike. All in all it was a great time and the beer was nice and cold. Dan I was content with my one hole, beers in the bucket and a nice comfy Gander Mountain chair. Duke come end of January with the way the weather has been you might just need a shanty bro. Crik good ol ferg has us covered out there in case we need something that is for sure. Those spitz sunflower seeds are the bomb. JZ bring the pics come January.:d
I caught 2 pike Peak!!!! LOL Definetly a slow day out on the ice today. Hopefully a better day tomorrow. Just not looking forward to the 4 degree temperature. And I watched you catch most of those fish and the bait I was using for pike were bigger then those you were catching!
I plan on hunting tomorrow again. But I would LOVE to join you boys sometime. Give me a heads up when you are heading out again.. and I'll be there. Actually just went through all my old ice fishing gear the other day.. still had dried minnow on one of my ancient tip-ups.:d Probably 12 year old fathead.. I suspect! Give me a holla during the week if you guys are heading out. I should be available most of this week. Also.. I know of a little lake in Illinois where it could be real GOOD!
I actually fish every night during the week except for Tuesday and I am out most weekends unless I am traveling for a tournament.
