I'm in archery club at my college, and at last nights meeting we were discussing ways to try and get more exposure, and ways to get more people to come to meetings. We are actually currently one of the larger clubs on campus, but we've only been having 20 or so people show up for meetings. Last year we did a thing with the boy scouts during one of their weekend activities, and helped them learn how to shoot a bow. I guess what I'm really looking for is ideas from you guys to help us get more members to join up, as well as activities to help get our name out there and improve the image of our club. Our current downfall is that we're really only set-up for students that already have a bow. We would really like to be able to get a couple of bows in order for newbies to get involved, but we really don't have a large amount of money. I know that some of the archery companies jump at the opportunity to help out in situations like this, but I didn't know if they would still be so willing with the way the economy has turned. All ideas are appreciated, as we're trying to get more people involved and interested in the sport. Thanks!
