    When do you guys start using scents in your neck of the woods? I was thinking about putting in a mock scrape I just don't want to put it in too early! What are your thoughts?

    I usually use deer pee early in the season. I will start to use doe estrous the 3rd week in Oct. This season I tried the Ambush Buck Bomb and liked the results.

    I bought the Code Blue Grave Digger Scrape Mate - Its basically dirt infused with specific deer scents for early season. Dig a shallow hole, pour 3/4 in, cover up with dirt, pour rest around the scrape and you're done.

    Been getting great results so far from numerous bucks. I will be adding some doe estrus to the scrape soon - Probably next weekend.

    I am using the Wildlife Research Golden Buck right now on a drag.
