    How important is scentlok clothing?

What layers should you get? Shirts, gloves, pants, etc... What's needed? If any.

Are there any cheaper brands or websites that sell it cheap if you need it?

    This should be good.

You don't need scent loc. I have 2 suites and I like them but it also has to do with what you do up to putting on the scent loc. Scent free showers ,spray's,cover scents what ever your cup of tea is.

People killed deer before scent loc and people will continue to kill deer without wearing scent loc. IIt' just another tool and if used properly can be helpfull.

130Woodman is exactly right. I just got a jacket and pants for this season, but I went all last bow season (granted I shot my buck on day four) without getting busted. I put my hunting clothes in the garage in a sealed container with some leaves and stuff, never wash them with regular detergent and use a earth scented cover scent. If you take steps like that and then play the wind right, you'll be OK 90% of the time.

Yes it will help but don't kid yourself you will not be invisable to a deers nose. Wash it often.

ya im with everyone else this is the first season that i will use a scentblocker suit (mid season) but its all how you take care of your clothing..if you be midful of the right detergent and cover scents i think that is the best thing that you can do. Im shure these scent blocking clothing helps but i dont think its a fix all for inpoper clothing care. Here is a good read for Detergents and scents. http://www.deeranddeerhunting.com/article/the-best-way-to-inhibit-your-scent/

this is why i stick with Scent-A-Way earth scent cloths was and i use acorn scent elimator from them

Just make sure you still play the wind whether you wear that stuff or not.

Don't worry about wearing Carbon clothing. Doesn't give you any more of an advantage than wearing nothing. If it did, believe me, I'd be wearing it!

I started finding lawsuits against companies who manufacture this stuff. Apparently it doesn't help that much...
