Vendetta, uummm I am thinking we are on the same side of the issue here. Maybe you misread something I wrote? Or quite possibly my powers of articulation have fallen short of my hoped for intent?

I never implied to you or anyone that you (they) were against these carbon based products. To my way of thinking if you're forced by the court to settle for the very likely risk that the judgement will be/ could be worse YOU LOSE. But those folks can call it what ever helps them sleep at night.

Put another way, The Payer is the loser ( any way you cut it) and the Payee is the winner, because it was the sole intent of the suit......... to get money! I'm not sure how this can be spun any other way, but as I say. What ever gets them thru the night!

As far as your " thirdly" read the previous post, I think that about sums up the same thing I just wrote.

I cant afford any of the nice scent blocking stuff. I buy Spray and detergent. My Clothes came from Walmart.
I sat in a ground blind yesterday afternoon that we made out of the cheap camo burlap and cloth u get from WalMart.
My Friend and I both. We also had two brand new stools / seats in there and I had new long johns.
The moral of me naming all the new is that we never had a chance to wash it or anything and its been in Walmart handled by many people.

We had a pile of does cross in front of us - give pause a couple of times as if they saw or smelled something. The carry on feeding.
They were happy downwind of us, feeding, with us in a ground blind - 8 feet away.
They were so close we couldn't draw. It was exciting.

So I am not saying X works X doesn't. And Bucks are a lot better at scent that does I understand. But I won't be buying and $400 outfits anytime soon that claim to work off of science that doesn't make sense to me.
I have $50 in my hunting outfit? :)

Getting a little off topic from the OPs original question, but Im going to throw my experiences into this convo also.

I worked at ScentLok for 4 years before I joined the military, and Ive seen first hand how these products work. I wore Scent Lok for 6 years, and was never winded while wearing it. Deer would be straight downwind, and wouldnt even look at me.

This year, I switched to Scent Blocker because I was able to get it cheaper than Scent Lok products. Overall, the fit and function seems to be better than Scent Lok, but I was also winded by a big doe during the early season. Ive used the same methods of clothing care that that I always have, use the same scent elimination sprays, etc. The only exception to me being winded this time is that I had just hung a treestand that afternoon, then decided to hunt a different stand. I had been sweating pretty good, and the wind was in my favor, but a this deer came in from an unexpected direction.

So all in all, I personally think carbon suits work to some extent. In my personal opinion, if wearing and caring for one gives me an advantage in the woods, Ill take it. Bowhunting is difficult as it is, and just like JZ, anything to put the cards a little more in my favor!

Scent-Loc is probably THE best rain suit I've ever owned and its warm. But I've not noticed any difference in being busted with it on.
I use the dead down Wind spray, mostly because it's become a habit.
The way I see it,the only your gonna 100% stop human odor,is to not breath on your stand. If your breathing, you releasing fresh scent.
Been thinking about trying the ozone stuff though.
