I heard scent blocker was endorsed by convicted felon escapees. They use it to run up wind of trained tracking dogs. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
They "used" to be a partner of a lot of shows in the hunting industry. Drury Outdoors, Bone Collector, Pat & Nicole Reeve, etc. they all left for conpetitors Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You're on to something. I personally had good success with Scentblocker, along with a lot of other diligent measures to control scent. I can't prove the efficacy of any single measure I take, much less compare individual efficacy of one article of clothing to another. However, the aggregate of all my measures bred successful deer encounters at ranges as close as 8'. I don't use all Scentblocker. I will continue to do as much as practical for me to kill whitetail undetected. Scentblocker is well made, it fits me well, and I was able to buy it a good prices. Just my experience and opinion. Sorry uncle John, but you weren't shooting deer downwind because of any scent control clothing. You either had the thermals in your favor, OR you got lucky. Or the deer were just off your scent cone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
well when a deer give obvious signs of smelling something off, then the deer did smell me and did NOT bolt, and instead hung around long enough to shoot it. That was a downwind deer that smelled me. It doesn't take a scientist to notice behavioral change in the animal as it travels thru the woods and goes from casual to alert. I don't rely on clothing alone to reduce my scent, but I also don't limit my self to hunting upwind deer.
Their newest venture that I'm aware if pnuma is only a year old, super expensive advertised as high end stuff
