Has anyone ever used the scent gland off the back of a buck's leg?? Is this an effective strategy? I have a local butcher who processes deer and he had a big (looked like a dominant buck) buck. I cut off the back gland which was very dark in color. Thoughts....... I am seeing an extremel nice buck on my property but he is holding tight with a doe and does not come any closer than 60 yards. All the other does and smaller bucks are coming right by my stand. Thanks for the help!
True story. I had a customer last week put one in a sappling Friday afternoon and forgot to get it. He hunt the same stand the following morning and after daylight he noticed the sappling screaded. I saw the pictures!
