I've found this entire case very fascinating from the beginning, and I have to admit that I'm rather surprised at the outcome. Not because I think that Scent-Lok products eliminate 100% of your odor, because I don't believe they do. I personally think they can give you a competitive advantage when used properly, but common sense will tell you that they can't possibly get rid of ALL odor ALL the time.

The reason for my surprise is that a quick Google shopping search brings up over 24,000 results for products labeled as "odor eliminators". Everything from sprays and powders to fans and air deodorizers. Do all 24,000 products truly "eliminate" scent as in "getting rid of 100% of it?" My instincts tell me no. So why isn't anyone suing them?

I think it's a shame that it had to come down to this. I bought a Slim Fast shake the other day and haven't lost any weight since drinking it. Time to call my lawyer I suppose.

Also, something to note here - Scent Blocker wasn't a part of this lawsuit. ;)

Do not own any scent eliminating clothing, and won't unless it's cheaper than the comparable camo I'm looking at (never is).

...But it is too bad something like this had to happen...attorneys/liability like this are what potentially scare those with new inventions/ideas to never pursue them...WE ALL LOSE!

I remember the first time I picked up my buddy after he got scent lok. He ripped azz and I knew there was no way i'd pay that much when it can't absorb a fart.

What is the purpose of using a product that doesn't completely eliminate all your scent when we know a whitetails nose is capable of detecting scent into the single parts per million?

What do I really think, alot of people are making alot of money - so what do you think they are going to say?

The only product capable of BEATING a whitetails nose is Ozonic's. The FBI just found them to beat a canine's nose, so that is proof they work!

The ozonics thing looks like some good technology. but as long as we the hunter stinks and that travels thru your clothes as soon as you put them on your still going to be picked off.
