I live in Illinois and do 90% percent of my hunting in the mid-west. I was looking to invest in some Scent-Lok. What camo pattern should I purchase?? I'm looking at the Vertigo or the Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity?
    Thanks for the help!!

Don't you like it? What size are you? I'm 6'2" and 210 lbs. Do you think it really works?

Im not trying to persuade you to purchase anything but i recently purchased a scent blocker freak nasty jacket. I was planning on buying scent-lok products at first but i saw something very interesting when looking around... There was recently a law suit against all companies manufacturing carbon hunting gear. I know it sounds stupid due to the fact that you cant really prove them right or wrong but what I found very interesting was that they proved that Scent-Lok products do not live up to the requirements and the lawsuit against them went through but scent blocker was proven to be effective due to the carbon fibers being made with the material and not just glued around it... I also have a buddy that has scent blocker and highly recommended it due to the quality of the clothing so i decided on going with scent blocker.

i too have scent-blocker freak nasty jacket/pants and would put it up against anything on the market. This is my first year using it and i've honestly had closer encounters with deer (right under my tree eating) and more deer in numbers around me this year thany any of my previous. I will attest to realtree AP-HD camo pattern too. It is the most versatile of all camo patterns IMO.

I used it and had good success with deer down wind of me but I'am switching to Predator Camo. I think with carbon clothes allows you to have more margin of error for wind. As for the my size 5'10 195 have lots of room for layering. If I sell thats ok if I don't thats ok too.

That lawsuit was for all carbon clothing thats why there is sign posted at all Gander Mnt by the carbon clothing. The reason is because you can't eliminate all scent. The clothing companys through advertisment gave the impression they could.

Not trying to thread hijack here, but I am looking for some of the same clothes. I am 5'6 130lbs... Anyone know where I can get some adult small-sized scent lok gear? I know the bigger you are the better availability, but there has to be some scent lok products made for teenagers

Hey guys, not trying to spam here or anything just wanted to provide some information and input. First about the Mossy Oak or Vertigo patterns. You really can't go wrong with either. The Vertigo is definitely one of if not the most effective camo patterns ever developed. It breaks up the human outline like nothing before. Mossy Oak has had a long standing tradition of producing exceptional patterns, but they tend to be a little darker. It really boils down to the type of terrain and atmosphere you will be hunting in and what best fits your surroundings.

As for the lawsuit, I wanted to share the latest press release about the most recent ruling regarding the lawsuit. Scent-Lok prevails and works as advertised.

I wish all of you great success this fall and stay safe!

Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions regarding our products or camo patterns.

    Good hunting,

    Alex

    Alex,
Why is it so hard to find Scent-Lok with Gore-Tex....
I do use your technology, however, I need the weatherproofing as well...
My choices are limited at best. The ultimate Scent-Lok hat.......most don't have Gore-Tex..I had a hell of a time finding one finally at Gander Mountain.....Indy...Yeah it was pricey but they work....$40..or so later!!!
Not really complaining about the cost it is what I want and I believe many here are not served as well as they should be with QUALITY...ENGINEERED...HUNTING...APPAREL...Get these Guys to use more Gore-Tex in Hunting Clothes....Thanks for the update and listening to me!
Carbon works, but, water occupies the pores and it does not work as well..You must prevent the carbon from moisture rain, snow, sleet etc.
I do put in dryer to reactivate........dry up $hit in pores of carbon...and it does work!
    Good Luck,
Wanting more Scent-Lok products with Gore-Tex!!!!

P.S. What do you know about Nano Technology in Fabrics??????
And I am very intrested to know when we will see it in Hunting Apparel?
    Very, Very, intresting!!!!!!!!!
