I was going through a drawer and found an old bottle of Scent Killer/Autumn Formula, that I know is at least 5 years old, probably older. Could this stuff still be good to use? There is no expiration/dispose of date on the bottle. Thoughts?
I'd use it. Only because I don't think the spray stuff is all that affective anyway. lol. My understanding is that Scent Killer and Scent Away for example, the primary ingredients are Hydrogen Peroxide and Baking soda. If you read up on it, Hydrogen Peroxide has a shelf life of 6 months after its been opened. Not sure about Baking soda. Wonder how old the stuff on the store shelves is? I highly doubt the company bottles it in a sealed environment either.
Thanks. It's just that there's nothing at all printed on the bottle regarding use limitations (time) or an expiration. I guess it's just better to toss it.
Yea I think I read that on the back on the refill bottle I bought a couple weeks ago. I bought one of the 24oz sprayer/refill combos and it was either on the refill bottle or in the little packet with the rebate info. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
