Do you believe in scent elimination products and which ones? Do you use a system or just spray before the stand?

I like to use some Doe P around my stand year round, then I like to use Dead Down Wind products which I use the three scent system, body wash/shampoo, detergent and then field spray. No I am not a spokesman for them but its a product that works really well.

I do the same thing. I use scent away body wash and shampoo though. And scentless dove soap every day I'm not hunting, as well as scent free deodorant. I also sometimes wipe down stuff my bare hands have touched like my bow and binoculars. But I mostly use baking soda to wash (any fabric ie stand, release, clothes, harness. Anything), to store my clothes, and to brush my teeth.

I use Wildlife Research products. Soap, Deoderant, Spray, Lotion and Wipes. Also use clothes wash and air tight packs. Then most of clothing is either Scent Lok or Under Armour Capture. Plus use a scent lok back pack and only wear pants and base slayer to my tree and dress once in the tree.

Always make sure boots are scent free or sprayed down real well.

Also wear disposble rubber gloves to stand to make sure dont leave sent on anything I touch.

Use HS Scent wafers in the stand and Tink's Doe Pee around stand year round.

For the most part, scent elimiastion is a joke.

I will shower with unscented soap...use unscented deoderant...wash my clothes in baking soda. I mostly just watch the wind and my entrance exit routs.

Nosejammer is a new product that is getting great field reviews. Takes a lot of the work out of scent prep. If you enter 'arrow' at checkout you get free freight on their web site as well.

I use Sport wash for my clothing. I haven't found anything better in terms of killing odor. But what I like most about Sportwash is how well it cleans blood out of clothing. Also, its supposed to help rejuvenate the fibers in the clothing as well.

As for everything else. I shower with scent away soaps and spray down my clothing and great with scent away spray. Hunt the wind.

The scent elimination products may help a little but I seriously doubt they are working as well as they claim or we think they do. You can't beat a deer's nose, period.
