I try to really watch my scent during hinting season. But I have a question. I take a scent free shower, put my under layer on, and drive to my spot before getting dressed. My question is about my towel and wash cloth. I use one towel that I have washed in scent free laundry soap. But I use that towel a few times. After you use it, it is obviously still wet, so I just hang it in the bathroom. I am sure it soaks up any smells that are in the bathroom. What is your routine here? Do you have a bunch of towels and wash cloths washed in scent free soap, stored in a scent free bag? Same goes for the washcloth...
I take 3 or 4 towels and keep them separate. I would think that a towel hanging in the bathroom would absorb a lot of different odors. Not to mention that it begins to smell on it's own after a few times. Best of luck to you this year. Blessings.........Pastorjim
Towel gets washed with everything else upon return and put in scent free storage. I do have several towels just in case though.
I go with a scent free washed towel, washcloth, socks, underwear, socks, every sit. No point in using the method only once in a while.
I hang the towel in the hunting room or outside and reuse a few times I also have 3 or so that are washed in the scent free
I have a towel, wash cloth and small towel I wash in scent free detergent and use. I take the small towel with me in the woods to wipe away any sweat after I have walked and entered my stand. I place them in my scent free bag when I have washed and dried them and I do the same after each use. I think you will be fine if you let them dry and put them in a bag for storage just to keep other scents off them.
