scent drags and deer scents in early season

I picked up some scent drags and tinks doe P from walmart today to refill my scent bombs and pour into my drags. Could I use during early season or should save I till later or just get some estrous.

 

I usually wait until the rut and use estrous scent then. I have had great success with drags as long as my footwear is clean.

Using a drag early with doe urine may help calm deer so I don't think that it would hurt. I know some that do that but never tried it myself, maybe this year.

 

They are more interested in food than sex early in the season. Maybe drag some apple scent along

 

Maybe drag plain pee scent as a cover, seems logical to me. Later in the season switching to some sexy pee to bring the boys in........seems like a solid plan.
