im new here.but as far as scent control the last week has made me a believer.first day in the property i had not "cleaned" my gear.the buck walked up to where i entered then made a loud worning and bolted.so i went and got some cleaning stuff to wash my gear in.let me tell you ive hunted sitting on the ground.the brush is really thick.i had a cow horn walk right up to me last evening i didnt even have time to draw.i couldn't it was barely 10 feet in front of me.the deer looked at me i was in complete camoflage.sniff the ground, look at me again after about 10 seconds it decided something was up, it went back the way it came .it jump down the embankment then just walked away.man im a believer now.

I dont' use scent lok or scent blocker clothing. I personally do not believe it works as advertised. I do however take every precaution I can about caring for my clothing in terms of washing, hanging them outside for days to dry and storing them in air tight containers. I take scent killing showers and use a gallon of scent killer spray on me and my equipment in a season's time.

However, I have my eye on the Dream Season Pro jacket right now. Not for the Scent Blocker, but merely on the design and function of the clothing.

I got the scent blocker protec pants and jacket and love them. They are very warm and comfortably and amazingly quiet. I'm not 100% sure on how well it works, but the other day I had three deer walk directly under my stand, with one eating branches directly under me. They came from up wind and after passing me and being down wind they didn't spook in anyway. I do always spray my clothes down and keep all my stuff in a plastic container just to help with everything. Also the price was really good, paid 180 including shipping for pants and jacket so it wasn't really any more expensive than any other camo suit.

One word from a guy who hasn't believed in any of the scent elimination products - and wouldn't promote anything, until...... OZONIC'S!!!!

We just put together a video for them, it'll be posted on their site here soon. We have been using them all season, and have proof captured on-video that they work. The most amazing product I've ever used, and probably the most revolutionary product to hit the hunting industry - ever! Not a gimmick, they're science works - nothing else does!!!

hahahah my "gimmicks" worked on multiple Iowa bucks. wind right in their face many times..... including a 190 + buck that would rival any buck I have ever seen killed

I don't use scent blocker suits of any kind, but i do wash all my clothes in scent eliminator detergent, this year i used dead down wind products. Best thing to do is play the wind regardless of what you are using, which seems to be the consensus from everybody. There is no end-game when it comes to being completely scent free. Ive had deer not bust me when i absolutely thought they would smell me from wind change, and ive had deer bust me when i thought they were coming in to me on a string, there's no guaranteed method.

    manure and apples

Mark - I am with you on the whole manure thing, but i dont stick dry manure in my clothes bin. I have hung my clothes in the hay loft or on a clothes line near a pasture and sprayed downed with scent killer. seemed to help. After doing this a few times I had a nice eight point walk approx. ten feet away from me down wind while sitting on the ground gun hunting. no bs, have two witnesses that were hunting near me that saw the same buck come by me. To bad it was earn a buck that year :( not sayin i dont get winded while doing this but i do think it helps to have a familiar scent in the woods. I have also rubbed apples on me but dont believe it covered my scent just covered it up a bit.
