Hey ya'll. What brand scent control products do you guys use and why? Don't give me the curmudgeonly response of "play the wind." We all know to play the wind. I strictly am curious as to why people make purchases of certain brands. Is it cost, marketing, packaging, name of the brand, celebrity endorsements? There's a lot of brands out there. Just curious here...Thanks and I hope everyone's off-season is moving quickly. Too slow here...

Nelson Creek Outdoors is testing our new Scent Shredder Odor Eliminator right now. It utilizes new chemistry based upon improving existing products.

One thing that I stay away from is Odor Eliminating sprays with a cover scent. If a product absorbs odor, how would it emit one??? That's why I use different products. Our odor eliminating spray, then use one of our cover scents/ attractants, like Sweet Vanilla Thrilla.

PM if you'd like to try them.

Tinks B tech everythin, I've had some extremely close encounters on the ground while using it. I had 4 doe last season down wind of me walk straight towards me an never noticed me. It showed me right then an there that I'd be stupid to use anythin else!

I use dead down wind, simply because of its availability at my nearby sporting goods store. :)

I also use Dead Down Wind, that and Hunter Specialties. I've tried them both and they have worked great so now I just grab whichever one is cheaper at the time being :tu:

I use Scent-A-Way since it is scientifically proven to be the Best. I like Tinks as well.

I use pretty much any of them that I can get at the end of season for the lowest price lol. From sprays, body washes, and detergents. I also wear scent Blocker clothes to.

I use scent a way, it's around the same cost as everything else and you can get the spray in a combo pack with refillable sprayers and usually offer a mail in rebate. Plus it always has just worked for me and others I know.

I use Dead Down Wind also. The product proved itself to me when 2 dogs walked past me while I was walking to my stand just a few feet away; I stood completely still (in camo) and they didn't even look, sniff, or have a clue that I was there. I've also had deer all around me when the wind was wrong yet they had no idea. I buy the full kit on Amazon every year for almost half the price.

    My routine:
Wash clothes with DDW laundry detergent
Wash hair and body with DDW soap
    DDW deodorant
DDW spray on clothes and boots (inside and out)

Scent Away or Dead Down Wind. Dead Down Wind is actually a customer of my wife's. She is a project manager at the label company that prints the labels.
