Hey ya'll. What brand scent control products do you guys use and why? Don't give me the curmudgeonly response of "play the wind." We all know to play the wind. I strictly am curious as to why people make purchases of certain brands. Is it cost, marketing, packaging, name of the brand, celebrity endorsements? There's a lot of brands out there. Just curious here...Thanks and I hope everyone's off-season is moving quickly. Too slow here...

Wildlife Research Scent Killer or Dead Down Wind. Whatever the local pro shop stocks. I bought my last bow from someone else as he doesn't carry Bowtech. I feel bad if I don't go in to do business with him on most of the other stuff. He is good to deal with and seems to appreciate the business even though it isn't for the big ticket items.

Scent-A-Way from Hunter's Specialties. You can get a pretty good deal on their value pack and I always pick up a couple at Wal Mart at the end of the current season to use the next season. They're usually on sale at the end of the year for $11 with a $5 rebate.

I use Dead Down Wind detergent to wash my clothes and whatever dryer sheets are cheapest.

Dead Down Wind or Scent Killer is all I buy. Works really well for me.

Need to find another section of the forums to post this. I suggest either the "Bowhunting" or "Equipment" section.

I've got DDW and will use sagebrush from the area to help cover my scent this year.
