Ladies and Gentleman, what scent technology clothing wear do you use or scent cover ups? Why do you use them? I thought this may be a good thread!

I have some scent-a-way stuff. The main reason is that it fits what I'm looking for at the time and its cheap. I'll get into the better more expensive stuff eventually.

First off, you're comparing two totally different things. Scent-A-Way clothing has an antimocrobial treatment which helps prevent the growth of odor causing bacteria, which reduce the amount of scent your clothing will generate and hold. It doesn't eliminate, kill or mask existing bacteria or existing scents.

Scent-Lok and ScentBlocker are similar technologies in that they use activated carbon that is impregnated into the garment to adsorb odor molecules, effectively preventing them from becoming airborn and reaching your target animal's nose. Now you can go on for days debating activated carbon's effectiveness. Some believe, some don't. Its unlikely that you'll change the mind of either person who is dead set one way or another. Personally, I'm a believer. I've used both Scent-Lok and ScentBlocker garments for years and have never seen proof that they don't work as stated. However, I will admit that I do adhere to a fairly strict scent control regimine which I am sure plays a big part in my overall observations and success.

With that all said, I love my ScentBlocker garments - every last one of them. They're very well made, comfortable, quiet and warm. I will be using them, along with ScentShield sprays and soaps, this fall and hope to be equally as successful as I was last year using the same system. :tu:

In the end, whatever products you're confident in using and work for you are the ones you should go with.

I actually use the scent away earth scent, and use the dryer earth scent thingys. and put my cloths in big zip lock bags right out of the dryer with fresh pine needles in the bag. and hunt down wind. I did the scent-lok thing for about 3 years. I hunt a lot and am in a hurry most of the times. usually rushing home from work jumping in the shower and off to the woods. And was wearing the scentloks about half the time and never really notice a difference myself. had deer walk around the white oak wearing both a many of time.
I think its more of a confidence thing whatever you got the most in is what you should do. JMO

Ozonic's is the only thing I've found that works; and the only company that backs their product with a 100% money back garantee!

I must admit - I've very excited to use my Ozonics unit this fall. I've heard nothing but great stuff about them. :tu:

Just gotta make sure my cameraman has one too. :D

I love my Scentblocker clothing. Its very well made and fits me just right. Plus it doesn't help that I get a big, fat discount on all of it. :)
