    Less mature bucks than last year, but crop rotation plays a large role in that. We’ll see what the cameras show in October.

    Been super busy with non hunting stuff so i havnt been able to make a lot of posts lately. I’m putting one more plot in since my neighbor decided not to plant his back field, gonna be some type of fall mix just not sure of what yet.

    My trail cameras have actually been a little slow, lots of coyotes and young turkeys, but no “giant” bucks yet.

    I started working on episode 6 but need some more footage to finish it up. Mostly a fishing episode from the beach with some river fishing and a little food plotting. Couples stills:

    Fertilized my brassicas and mowed my clover/chicory yesterday, also threw in a last minute plot. We’re 43 days from the opener here in Ohio.

    Sure are, I’ve really enjoyed this last year, got some more trips planned too.

    Had a buck we named “Future” last year show up again. Was really excited to see if he made some big jumps. Unfortunately he didn’t.

    Hit some bare spots and fertilized my fall plots the other day. Im about 50% satisfied with the results this year. I really need to work my soil and correct the PH next spring.

    Thanks man. Looking forward to a stress free fall. Las 4 years I’ve been hunting only 1-2 deer and it got old, this year I’m free to take whatever I feel like taking.

    Some decent deer no doubt, no “legacy” bucks though unfortunately. Kinda nice having a clean slate going into the year without a bonafide #1 for once, I always key in on 1 or 2 deer and let it dictate my entire season.
