Checking in boys, been awhile. Took a fishing trip to PA and then a turkey hunting trip to WV. The fishing was amazing, the hunting was a learning experience. Hill county birds are TOUGH but they love to gobble and tease you. I’ll be showing that on an upcoming episode. The first week of Ohio’s season was action packed but no birds on the ground. Had a great day in the woods yesterday, and got it all on video. I’m working on posting episode 2 today, episode 3 tonight, and episode 4 tomorrow. Last years clover/chicory plot which was my best plot already looking good. Mowed it 2 days ago. This plot was cleared in 2013 and planted with throw and grow, then left. Disced it up and im gonna plant brassicas/oats to enhance the soil. Might till them under and plant rape later in the year. Same with this little under utilized clearing.
