Thinking about setting up on that field Saturday with the 25, maybe I can take that breeding couple out!
Did the weekly cam checks today...mixed results...the carcass cam was gold, but the coyotes drug off my carcass. All the other cams were slow. Got my first Eagle on cam.
Called Moultrie today. They said the blurry D55irXT pics are a result of the memory card writing too quickly. I have never heard of this before. Im going to do a hard reset on that camera and put a slower memory card into it to try and fix the problem. Im still waiting on my Covert Red 40 to arrive in the mail. And we are finishing up the fixes on my Cuddeback tonight, ill have it deployed tomorrow. Weather is ultra crappy in Ohio right now, alternating between 0 and 40 degrees with rain and snow. Not very nice weather for being outdoors...
She actually enjoys being in the woods. Must have caught her in an off moment... Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
That's awesome. And only a week since we discussed it. Didn't you get an owl pic recently for the first time too? Or was that someone else?
Nope that was me as well. Both my first owl and eagle in 2013! Pretty pumped about the rest of the year... Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
For Ben, Brad and anyone else looking to offer food plot advice. Here is the layout with what is going to b the crop rotation in 2013. Green Boxes are going to be food plots. Yellow Lines are screens to be planted. Pink is current stand sites (More to be hung) Blue is bedding areas. Red is fruit trees to be planted.
Some from the carcass cam, cuddeback is working again finally... The deer have been curious too: I think i committed to 2 more small in the woods kill plots for this fall as well. They are both in clearings that were created from oil well drilling, and both are perfect places for stand.
Now that im a Covert user, gotta find the creek crossings to be in the cool kids club... So i found two good ones Red40 and Mp6 deployed. Im talking with some landowners this weekend to see what my options are for this year. Pretty excited. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
Found our first 2 sheds of the year this week! Were really interested in the 6 point side, he alluded our cameras all year then dropped his gear right on the edge of our hunting grounds. He'll be a good one to look after next year...
