I just saw a commercial on the golf chanel that told me my golf game sucks because I wear the wrong shirt. LOL Now they tell me I'll hit it further, straighter and less often if I buy some "EnergyWear" golf shirts. Suppose to be a combination of negative and positive ions arranged to give me energy and strength. They even had Paul Azinger hawking the stuff. LOL My God, do they really think golfers are that gullible?

Yes. Look at scent blocking clothing and what a scam that was and how bowhunters fell for it. P.T Barnum said it best.

I think the same is true with Viagra. I had a friend that tried it but I think he failed to take it with enough water and it got stuck in this throat and he just ended up with a stiff neck.

And now that people aren't buying as much scent lok or whatever as they used to... we have new snake oil. Jay Gregory is pushing his "Ozonics". That gadget wouldn't cover the scent of newly washed clothes. What a scam.

I very much disagree. Look at those folks that get rid of smoke smell after a house fire. Ozone generators are proven in scent ellimination and have been (in the non-hunting world) for years. Somebody was clever enough to find a hunting application for a proven method.

You can pretty much sell anything to a golfer that will make them hit it longer and straighter. For some reason they haven't caught on that it is mostly the operator that ultimately makes that happen, not a shirt lol. Havent' heard of this yet, but it doesn't surprise me. Matter of fact I was hitting them pretty long and straight without a shirt on this afternoon. Golf course was like a ghost town with this heat so I thought I'd grab my shag bag, work on my high draw and suntan.

Every year a new gadget comes along and is suppose to cure all your golfing woes. Strange thing is you NEVER see any golfers on tour using them. I competed in a Re-Max Long Drive Local Qualifier 4 years ago and I had a guy there tell me I would not qualify with a steel shaft in my driver. Fujikura Graphite Shafts were the hot thing then among Long Drivers. Well 3 hours later and a 387 yard drive, I was number three of six that made it to the Regionals.

The only aid I ever thought was a pretty good tool was the medicus. It can actually teach you swing plane and develop muscle memory. Gives you instant feedback.
