Anybody have any experience with these trees? I was planning on buying several of them and planting them in hopes of quick results. I heard they grow faster than most oaks and produce a tonn of acorns. Any thoughts?

I planted some of these trees about 4 years ago here in pa, Of course they did not produce the first year. The next two years were great. And this year there was nothing. It seems like they follow the same pattern of ever other oak tree I have. Whether it be the red oaks, white oaks. If one year was great and produce tons of acorns. The next year they do nothing. We had a horrible mast crop this year. Also, as far as growing. I treat these trees just as i would by fruit trees. I try to fertilize them i don't know if works or not but i do it. They grew about 15 inches in height the last four years. and about 3 inches in diameter. These trees i think are a long term process. of couse. One more think I actually bought six of these trees at lowes. I had one that did nothing and ended up dying and lowes replaced it.
